Motorcycle rider, 3 other people injured inroad mishap

IBAJAY,AKLAN—Motorcycle rider along with three locals crashed at the Small-Town Lottery (STL) booth in Naisud, Ibajay on September 8, Thursday.

In the report of the Ibajay Municipal Police Station (MPS), Nelson Montero, 25 year-old resident of Regador, Ibajay, the driver of the motorcycle going to Atason, allegedly lost control of the steering wheel and collided with another rider, Mark Anthony Dalisay of Naisud.

It also plowed the STL booth and the teller inside, Maeka Idao, before hitting another victim, Harold Sastre, a bystander at the scene.

"I was very scared to the point that I didn't know what to do that time. Fortunately, we didn't acquire that much injury," said Idao, one of the victims.

The victims suffered wounds and were rushed immediately to Ibajay Hospital, while the motorycycle rider, Montero, was in the custody of Ibajay Philippine National Police (PNP) for proper disposition.

As of this writing, the victims are now recovering from the accident.
