Now, as Senior High School or K-12 existed, Sherwin decided to pursue his studies too. At the age of 28, he never thought it was too late.

He also believes that education is one of the most crucial keys to success. Despite all the things he achieved, he felt there is something that is missing. That is the reason why he planned to continue his study - to smoothly walk the path to success.

Sherwin knows that he's still far from his success but he is strong-willed. He made sure that he can find ways in pursuing what he want to do. He can do anything.

As a member of LGBTQ, Sherwin Castro raised the flag proudly.

His story is a wake-up call for everyone to be true to themselves. They cannot do what they want if they continue hiding from the box. Everyone needs to get up and see the world. Face the world with whom you are.

"Just let me be, and I'll carry everything on"

We can do things right if we are free. We can do things right if we know what we are doing.

As Sherwin always says, "Padayon!"

Padayon is a Visayan word that means to "carry on", " to do promptly, hastily, and unceasingly" as planned and as worked out (Abuyen Dictionary, 2005).

This was the word he's holding from the very start to continue striving hard. As he faced a lot of struggles and challenges in life, this word gave him strength and courage.

Thus today, Sherwin is not just a member of LGBTQ. He is not just an ordinary person. He is more than that. He became more than that. He is now introduced as Honorable Sherwin S. Castro.
